1.Who runs Semino

semino.net (“Semino”) is owned and run by Kiril Koparanov, an individual based in the Netherlands. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

2.Education, not advice

Everything on Semino is general educational information about financial terms. It is not financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and using the site doesn't create an adviser–client or any other professional relationship. The full disclaimer explains this in more detail.

3.Accuracy

Entries are researched against primary sources and checked before they're published (see the editorial standards). Even so, the site is provided “as is”, without any guarantee that it is complete, accurate or up to date. If you find a mistake, please report it.

4.Using the content

The text, structure and design of Semino are protected by copyright. You're welcome to read, link to and share entries, and to quote short excerpts with a credit and a link to the entry.

Without written permission you may not copy entries in bulk, republish them as your own, or use automated tools to scrape the site to build a competing database or to train AI models.

5.Links to other websites

Entries link to sources and other websites for context. Semino has no control over those sites and isn't responsible for their content or practices. A link is not an endorsement.

6.Availability

The dictionary is free to use. Any part of the site may be changed, paused or discontinued at any time. If paid features are ever added, the existing dictionary will stay free.

7.Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Semino and its owner are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or from relying on its content, including investment losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8.Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands. This doesn't take away any mandatory consumer protection you have under the law of the country where you live.

9.Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time; the date at the top shows the current version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
